Industrial Arts deals with the technology around us.
It is the process of gaining knowledge through study or practice.
At this stage, it deals with Basic Technology for Years 9 and 10 and Applied Technology and Technical drawing for Years 11, 12 and 13.
Basic Technology is a new subject taught at the secondary level and deals with the basic types of lines and hand tools that we use at homes.
Applied Technology is the study of the types of engineering materials that we use in our lives such as wood, metals, plastics etc.
Technical Drawing is a subject that deals with drawing using the 3rd angle and the 1st angle projection. Students will possess necessary skills to draw a house plan upon the completion of their Year 12 and 13 course.
