“Science is simply the word we use to describe a method of organizing our    curiosity,” Tim Minchin.

At Bhawani Dayal Arya College the Science department is comprised of a team of seven very dedicated and enthusiastic teachers.

Students take Basic Science in Years 9 and 10 which assist them to choose their subject combinations in Year 11.

We offer two streams of Science (Biology and Chemistry) from Years 11 to 13.

At each level, students get hands on laboratory experience as well as demonstrations by teachers. Our labs are well equipped with all the required instruments and chemicals and also has a smart board. Moreover, we ensure safety of our students by providing them with the necessary safety gears during practical classes.

We also give students opportunity to take part in all Science competitions and every year students display their creativity during department week.

We use a variety of teaching methods to enhance maximum understanding of science at all levels. We also incorporate modern technologies such as smart board and use of overhead projectors in our classes.

Most importantly, our department focuses on the wholesome development of our students.
