At Bhawani Dayal Arya College the Industrial Arts Department comprises of a team of three dedicated and enthusiastic teachers.

Students in Years 9 and 10 are taking Basic Technology while the students in Years 11, 12 and 13 are taking Applied Technology and Technical Drawing.

At level 9 and 10, students should know the basic types of drawing and the basic type of hand tools that we normally use at home. They are also given time to construct small projects using the basic hand tools.

At level 11, 12 and 13, the students have to draw their project with the technical skills that they have learnt and construct their projects. They also have to use the different types of engineering materials about which they have learned. Moreover, they learn how to do some basic skills in welding.

Our department significantly focuses on the basic skills and knowledge with which students should equip themselves at this level.
