Department Mission:

The mission of computer studies department is to provide quality education by creating a collaborative and transformative environment in which students are nurtured to prosper in learning. 

We create and disseminate knowledge through research and education in the theory and application of computing to better the state and nation and to equip our students to succeed and contribute to society.

Department Vision:

Our students will be leaders and innovative in industry, education and government, nation and the world. We will engage interdisciplinary pursuits that reinforce the impact of computation in other disciplines.

Goals:

• Teach and train students to question critically, think logically, communicate clearly, act creatively & live ethically.
• Students to understand the fundamental principles of computing and to gain a broad exposure to topics in computing and its related disciplines.
• To cultivate general intellectual skills in education in relation to computing.
